Meet the founder
Sudhir was inspired to create OM Botanical in 2011 after a fruitless search for non-toxic products to treat his son’s eczema.
Having grown up in Mumbai, India with a mom who raised him and his 9 siblings on traditional medicine he had a keen understanding of Ayurvedic traditions. Drawing upon his MS in molecular biology and an MPPM from Yale, Sudhir decided to solve the problem himself.
A vegan for over 25 years who loves cooking for others, Sudhir spends his free time gardening (he’s particularly fond of his ghost peppers), cooking, hiking, and rock climbing. In 2021, he climbed Mount Kilimanjaro with his two sons.
His mission (and now OM Botanical’s): to craft the safest and most effective plant-based skin care line combining the best of Eastern traditions and Western science.
