In order to continuously enhance our sustainability practices, it has become a part of our nature to think with a planet-first mindset every day. From sourcing best ingredients, to formulating, manufacturing, packaging, shipping, and more. We do this so that when those carbon neutral sugarcane tubes, bioplastic or glass bottles arrive from our lab at your doorstep, you can trust that we’ve done all the work to take care of not only you, but the planet as well. Manufacturing We are the manufacturer, meaning we do everything ourselves, with our own people, all in our lab in Apex, North Carolina. We formulate, manufacture in small batch, fill, package, ship, and distribute everything ourselves. We refuse to outsource any part of our business, and with that comes many benefits.

1. It gives us full visibility of the process and control over the quality of our products.  
2. Since we don’t manufacture overseas or use any subcontractors, we don’t have to ship products around to multiple facilities. That means we have a lower carbon footprint.  
3. We only make exactly what we need, when we need it. This means we limit excess or expired inventory that ends up polluting landfills, while also ensuring products are as fresh and potent as possible when they arrive at your doorstep.

Formulating Knowing that everything we put on our skin quickly absorbs into our bodies, we only use the best botanical ingredients with proven efficacy, without synthetic chemicals. Since everything in our bio-tubes come from plants, our formulas are free of animal by-product and fully biodegradable. When you wear our products or cleanse with it, know that it’s good for you and small amounts of sulfate free suds you are washing down the drain are good for the planet.

Sustainable Ingredients When sourcing our natural ingredients, we work with suppliers and cooperatives that support sustainable farming, fair trade practices, respect human and animal welfare and the environment.

Mixing in Small batch When it comes to mixing our plant pure formulas, we have a very unique approach. Every product is made by hand by our team in our own lab as needed. This ensures transparency, traceability, and accountability for all of our products.

Filling and packaging Once our formulas are mixed: they get filled by our on-site production team. Our filling process ensure that products are filled with the utmost care. When we say made in USA with love, we really mean it! When designing sustainability into every step of our manufacturing process, eco-friendly packaging is at the forefront. We are constantly searching for the newest and most innovative packaging solutions. Most of our products are packaged in carbon neutral sugarcane tubes or glass. It’s infinitely more recyclable and the most sustainable option available today. Our boxes are made from recycled paper certified by Forest Stewardship Council and printed with soy ink.

Shipping Once our plant-based formulas have been sustainably packaged, they’re ready to make their way to you! Our shipping boxes are also made from recycled material and packing peanuts are biodegradable.

While we know that outsourcing any of these steps would be a great way to cut costs, we truly believe that doing everything ourselves gives us control over the process, ensuring traceability, quality control, AND lower carbon footprint!
