1. INGREDIENTS WITH INTEGRITY
Natural is better for the planet , too
We start with the Earth—our skincare is powered by full-spectrum botanical extracts, not synthetic ingredients. Every herb is carefully selected for its efficacy, safety, and sustainability.
Petrochemical-free
Conventional skincare often uses petroleum-based ingredients that harm both your skin and the environment. We never use synthetic fillers or microbeads that pollute your body and our oceans.
Whole-plant extracts
We use only plant-based actives that are gentle, effective, and biodegradable. Our full-spectrum formulas preserve the bioavailability of natural compounds—supporting your skin’s health.
Regenerative farming
Many of our Ayurvedic herbs come from a 3-farm cooperative in Indore, India that uses traditional, regenerative practices. These methods support soil health, biodiversity, and local communities.
2. BATCH SIZE MATTERS
Quality, freshness, and reduced waste
We formulate and produce every product in-house in small batches at our North Carolina facility. Why?
- Less waste: We only make what we need—reducing inventory and environmental excess.
- Fresher formulas: Small batches mean products spend less time on shelves and more time working for your skin.
- More accountability: In-house production gives us full control over quality, sourcing, and sustainability.
3. PACKAGING FOR THE PLANET
From the outside in, we keep it clean
Our packaging is intentionally designed to minimize waste and protect both your skin and the planet.
Bioplastic Tubes
Instead of petroleum-derived plastic, our tubes are made from renewable sugarcane, a carbon-negative material that reduces emissions.
Glass bottles
Our serums are packaged in tinted glass, a highly recyclable and non-reactive material that protects the potency of plant-based formulations.
PCR bottles
Where plastic is necessary, we prioritize post-consumer recycled (PCR) content to reduce waste and demand for virgin materials.
Recycled paperboard
Our boxes are made from PCR paper that is recyclable and FSC-compliant, designed to protect the product and minimize excess.
4. RESTORING WHAT WE TAKE
1 product = 1 tree
Every skincare product starts with plants—whether it's aloe vera, turmeric root, or olives. That’s why we’ve partnered withTrees for the Future, a nonprofit focused on reforestation and agroforestry, to plant one tree for every product you buy.
Planting trees has a powerful environmental impact
- Carbon sequestration: A single mature tree can absorb around 48 pounds of CO₂ per year, helping to mitigate the carbon footprint of production and shipping.
- Soil restoration: Trees prevent erosion, restore biodiversity, and support healthier ecosystems.
- Giving back: We see tree planting as a gesture of reciprocity—pulling from the Earth to create our products, and planting in return to help restore balance.
With your support, we helped plant over 30,000 trees in 2024, supporting sustainable livelihoods and ecological regeneration.
