Sulfate-free Ayurvedic Shampoo

OM BOTANICAL skin, body, and hair care product is the most natural, plant based, chemical free product that I have ever come across. After using all this product, I can never see myself going back to using any other product with chemical again. The authencity of this whole skin, body and hair care line is absolutely incomparable. I love this product so much. The shampoo and conditioner set did wonders to my natural hair. It left my hair soft, silky, curly and, shinny. I’m absolutely inline with this product.

I purchased this mainly because I have tried other products from OM Botanical with really good results. I really like the men's organic facial moisturizer.There are few things to address (see pics). This is a good sized bottle, so you aren't getting ripped off. It comes out out looking brown and reminds me of an old tar dandruff shampoo I used many years ago, but that is where any resemblance stops.The smell is hard to nail down, but it is really nice! I love tea tree, but this isn't that smell. It's definitely something like that, but better, not as offensive to some people. After I work out, i'm quite the smelly mess and a small amount of this cleaned my hair perfectly, no itching, no dandruff. Nice shine and not rough to the tough. In fact, perfect.Lathers well, but nothing to write home about.Does NOT irritate the scalp when left on for a few minutes. That's important to me, because I like to leave the shampoo in while I wash the rest of my body.I will be ordering this as my go to shampoo for now on (as long as I can find it on sale now and then!)

I was looking for a shampoo that would help with dandruff, but not contain a bunch of ingriendients that would be not so good for my hair. I came across this one and decided to give it a try. It has some pretty good reviews, and is organic so it seemd like a good choice. When it arrived the first thing I noticed is the color and smell. The color is like a brownish-copper color and the smell is. well I guess earthy would be a good way to put it. However, this shampoo is simply amazing. After using a week or so I noticed a difference in the itchiness of my scalp. The shampoo left my hair feeling soft and looking healthy. All in all I am very happy with this shampoo and would recommend it.

Great products, however bottles are too small (12oz)

This shampoo works well. When you first use the shampoo, it is different. Judge it after using the conditioner and feel your hair after it drys. It feels great, just not while you are in the shower. My only gripe, is that it only comes in 12 oz bottle. Because of how it feels when using it, I seem to use a lot more, than my old go to (Aveda.) Please sell is in larger bottles.

I like that it is natural smelling, looking, and feeling.

The smell was just ok, but not great. I didn’t like that it doesn’t lather, even after several shampoos. Didn’t feel like it really cleansed my hair well.

Didn’t care for the smell of the shampoo and it’s too heavy for my fine hair.

This shampoo is wonderful! Cleans without stripping the hair. Along with the conditioner definitely makes the hair thicker and healthier.

Doesn’t give volume like it’s being claimed but hair feels better to the touch, not dry and course.

This shampoo smells great!! It is scented with essential oils, I love all of the benficial ayurvedic ingredients. I just wish the texture was a little thicker, I love that there is no fillers. I like that it cleans without stripping your hair of oils,

I really like the shampoo & conditioner the only issues is The bottle keeps getting smaller but NOT The price, Now that the bottle is 12 oz they are diluting with water, after 11 bottle purchased going from 19.2 oz to 16oz then 12oz Now adding water it's time to look at something else.

I’m on my 3rd bottle of this. It works well as long as you use it as the instructions say.There’s no lather so you have to get your hair really wet then apply it all over your scalp and let it sit there as long as possible. It’s time and not lather that cleans your hair with this shampoo. I believe that’s why some say they tried washing repeatedly and “didn’t work” because they didn’t let it sit on their scalp.My hair is bouncy and light after using it this way. I also condition my ends and mids first and leave that on while I apply the shampoo, that way I make sure no conditioner gets to my scalp and when I rinse the shampoo it washes the conditioner out too. I have to do it this way because I have waist length hair with dry ends but my scalp gets oily so I need both products to sit as long as possible while I tend to the rest of my body.If you’re looking for a truly natural shampoo, this is it.

I also have problems with that peppermint oil burning my eyes really badly no matter how tightly I keep them closed. I'm almost surprised I'm seeing it in shampoo. The smell is lovely though.

This smells good, feels really cooling on the scalp, I like itHowever, I am extremely concerned about the scent. It smells pretty strong after it's been rinsed and the scent stays in hair for days, I used it 4 days ago and I can still smell it.My husband said it smells like men's body wash lol.I contacted the company, because I use really natural products always and I've never had a product that had such. A lasting scent.I'm just having a really hard time believing there isn't a fragrance hiding.

I was looking for an organic, non-chemical shampoo and tried this one. The scent is peppermint. It does not lather at all, which was stated in the description, so it takes some getting used to. I put it in my hair at the start of my shower, massage my scalp, and leave it in until I am ready to exit. My hair is soft and shiny when dry, and stays fresh for several days.

Most people don't know that shampoos that grow your hair fast (obviously with no sulfates, no parabens or DEA) exist. Individuals now may have longer hair and achieve more alternatives. Definitely worth exploring.

If you're thinking about alopecia, damaged hair, preventing skin disorders, hair growth, hair health in general, almost the same thoughts apply.

As a general rule, you have to stay away from hair treatments and products that include chemicals such as parabens, DEA or sulfates.

This shampoo outshines every shampoo I have tried. I just purchased my second bottle. My hair is now bouncy, shiny and beautiful. No more shedded hair in my comb. I am happy and relieved at finally finding a shampoo that is perfect in every way. I am slowly increasing my Om collection and I am happy with every addition. Highest recommendation!

I was suffering from scalp inflamation and hair loss. I was using a topical prescription medication for the inflamation and itching. Nothing worked until I bought O M Botanical's Shampoo & Conditioner. My dermatologist is more than happy, and so am I. All the problems have gone away. My hair is coming in great. It doesn't fall out at all. The shine is amazing. I can't thank this company enough! I will always purchase these two products!

I could do without the scent, amd because it is organic and sulfate free it doesnt lather a ton, but I got used to it after the 2nd or 3rd use, and I like it. Leaves hair aoft and silky and i wasnt noticing as much loose hair falling out or breakage when I brush or wash it after about a week of use.

I enjoy the Wild peppermint ingrédient. It smells good. I also enjoy the mint feel on the scalp. I would like the consistency to be a little thicker and for it to lather more. Other than that my hair looks healthy beautiful and clean

I got this product because it was made with soap nuts and I have wanted to try them for a while. The scent is great, it doesn't lather much but I knew what to expect in that department. What I didnt know is how food of a stripping shampoo it would be. It leaves my hair squeaky, and my scalp tingly.Its lovely!
